Grains des grandes dalles

While walking through Saint-Pierre-en-Port, we passed by these grain fields standing strong in the wind. I have gotten much more in contact with grain as I recently started baking bread and brewing my own beer. Seeing how it looks like in the wild gave me so much more appreciation for this seemingly basic ingrediënt.
